Sautéed Beet Greens

SAUTÉED BEET GREENS

Equipment

  • Saute Pan
  • Potato Peeler

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbs coconut oil
  • 5 beets & greens
  • 1/2 tsp tumeric
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions
 

  • Wash beets and greens well
  • Peel the beet bulb with a peeler
  • Cut beet into cubes and Shred the greens
  • Add coconut oil in sauté pan
  • Sauté beets on medium high heat until beets nearly soft
  • Add beet greens and sauté
  • Add spices turmeric and salt
  • Add 1/4 cup of water or so, stirring often until beets and greens soften
