Healthy Sweet Ginger Black Cod

Use organic ingredients whenever possible.

1 lb. Kodiak Fish Market black cod fillet


1 1/2 Tbsp brown sugar

1 cup soy sauce

3/4 cup mirin, found in Asian food isle

1 Tbsp fresh shredded ginger

1 clove garlic, minced


1/2 cup green onion, chopped

1 Tbsp sesame seeds


  • Marinade fish for 30 minutes or more, then pan saute’ the fish for three to five minutes on each side.
  • Add some of the marinade while cooking for a more moist dish.
  • When the fish is nearly done, add green onion and sesame seeds to lightly cook before serving.
