Ginger and Hibiscus Drink
Ginger supports digestion and helps you break down food. When foods aren’t broken down, they start to ferment in the gut, which causes gas and bloating. Hibiscus contains polyphenols that can help calm the digestive system. PLEASE NOTE: Pregnant women should not consume hibiscus.
Use organic ingredients whenever possible.
- Yield: Serves 4 1x
4 Tbsp dried hibiscus flowers
2 1-inch pieces fresh ginger, peeled, sliced
1 tsp raw honey
4 cups water, boiling
- In 4 large mugs, add hibiscus flowers and ginger.
- Pour 1 cup of boiling water in each mug and steep for 8-10 minutes.
- Add in honey and stir.
