Shredded Brussels Sprouts

Brussels sprouts are full of flavor and health benefits. This simple recipe will make everyone go back for more.

Use organic ingredients whenever possible

2 (12-oz) packages Brussels sprouts, ends and brown leaves trimmed

2 Tbsp butter, unsalted

2 Tbsp avocado oil

Pinch of garlic powder

1 tsp Kosher salt

½ tsp freshly ground black pepper

1 Tbsp thickened balsamic vinegar


Shred Brussels sprouts using large slicing disc in food processor.

Set aside.

In a large pan over medium heat, add the butter and avocado oil.

Add Brussels sprouts and garlic powder.


Add salt and pepper.

Stir and continue to cook for 4 – 5 minutes.

Should become tender but still stay  bright green.

Add balsamic vinegar.

Stir and taste.

You may want to add more salt and pepper.

Serve hot.
