Always use organic when possible
Serves 8
20 oz. super firm tofu, drained
3 Tbsp tahini
1 cup nutritional yeast
2 1/2 tsp onion powder
2 Tbsp avocado oil
1 cup shelled hemp seeds
1 1/2 cup green onions, thinly sliced
1 1/2 cups cilantro leaves
8 limes, cut into wedges
3 jalapenos pepper, seeded, sliced
Hot Sauce of your choice for topping
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
16 4 1/2 – 5 inch corn tortillas, warmed
In a medium bowl, mash tofu into bite-sized crumbles.
Add tahini, nutritional yeast, onion powder, salt and pepper..
In a skillet over medium high heat, add coconut oil.
Add jalapenos, cook for 4-5 minutes. Should be tender.
Add tofu mixture and stir occasionally. Cook for 5-6 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Add help seeds to pan.
Combine very well.
Fill each tortilla with equal amounts of tofu mixture.
Top with green onions, cilanto, hot sauce.
Drizzle fresh lime juice when serving.
