Dr. Nandi’s Vegan chocolate banana smoothie
Use organic ingredients whenever possible.
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
2 sliced frozen organic bananas (I suggest you slice before you freeze)
3 medjool dates, pitted and soaked in the almond milk for 20–30 minutes
2 Tbsp raw cacao powder
1 tsp of chia seeds
Remove pits from dates and soak in the almond milk for 20-30 minutes to soften.
Add almond milk to blender first, frozen banana slices, dates, raw cacao powder.
Blend on high until completely smooth.
Top with chia seeds
Look for a raw cacao powder with very little or no added sugar.
