Zoy Patouhas, M.D. has been a dedicated resident of the Metro Detroit area her entire life. She graduated Summa Cum Laude as the Donnelly Award recipient for top female graduate from Wayne State University. She received 1 of only 11 Golden Key Scholar scholarships awarded internationally to pursue her medical studies. Dr. Patouhas earned her medical degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital of Michigan receiving the Bonita Stanton Professionalism Award.
While a student she spent many years volunteering at many local charities including the Karmanos Cancer Institute, Habitat for Humanity, and various local festivals. Dr. Patouhas taught Greek language at local Hellenic Cultural Centers for 8 years. Now as a pediatrician she remains active in the community, volunteering several years as a speaker at the Explorathon encouraging girls to pursue careers in science, as well as church charities.
Dr. Patouhas practices pediatrics at Mali and Mali Pediatrics in Sterling Heights. Watching her patients and family grow brings her the greatest joy. She has spoken at several Beaumont parenting sessions and has been a guest on multiple Ask Dr. Nandi episodes.
