Black Cod With Sweet Ginger


  • 1 lb. Kodiak Fish Market black cod fillet


  • 1 1/2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 3/4 cup mirin found in Asian food isle
  • 1 Tbsp fresh shredded ginger
  • 1 clove garlic minced


  • 1/2 cup green onion chopped
  • 1 Tbsp sesame seeds


  • Marinade fish for 30 minutes or more, then pan saute' the fish for three to five minutes on each side.
  • Add some of the marinade while cooking for a more moist dish.
  • When the fish is nearly done, add green onion and sesame seeds to lightly cook before serving.
