Shredded Brussels Sprouts

  • 2 12-oz packages Brussels sprouts, ends and brown leaves trimmed
  • 2 Tbsp butter unsalted
  • 2 Tbsp avocado oil
  • Pinch of garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Kosher salt
  • ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp thickened balsamic vinegar


  • Shred Brussels sprouts using large slicing disc in food processor.
  • Set aside.
  • In a large pan over medium heat, add the butter and avocado oil.
  • Add Brussels sprouts and garlic powder.
  • Stir.
  • Add salt and pepper.
  • Stir and continue to cook for 4 – 5 minutes.
  • Should become tender but still stay  bright green.
  • Add balsamic vinegar.
  • Stir and taste.
  • You may want to add more salt and pepper.
  • Serve hot.
