Did you know that your hobby could be helping your health?  Researchers are finding that people who are active with hobbies tend to be healthier.  Getting into physical hobbies promotes good health. It burns the fat stored in your body and helps reduce cholesterol levels. It also promotes better blood circulation which is good for the heart. It tones your muscles.  These hobbies not only benefit the body but also help in making your mind more alert and sharp.

Hobbies are a great de-stressor!  Research has discovered that people who partake in hobbies use them to reduce the stress levels in their bodies.   Science is finding that the hobby diverts the focus of attention away from the problem causing stress and placing it on the hobby. The researchers found that people who engaged in leisure activities were 34 percent less stressed and 18 percent less sad during the activities.
